However, before getting started on your design, we highly recommend walking through the steps below to come prepared to shop! Need further assistance? Be sure to fill out the form below.
Step 1: Determine how you’ll use your grill
Perhaps the most important part of designing an outdoor kitchen is considering how you’ll be using the space. Do you cook for your family or entertain guests? Do you host parties or is your backyard simply a space for relaxing outdoors and the occasional cookout?
All of these questions may come into play when designing an outdoor kitchen, in addition to considering how large of an island your outdoor living space can accommodate.
Step 2: Outdoor kitchen examples
Consider our outdoor island examples below. We offer a selection of shapes, sizes, finishes and convenient components to install within the island itself. Measuring your space and determining how much of it you are willing to use for an island may influence whether you choose a straight, L-shaped or horseshoe shaped island.
Determining the built-in components you will need is also critical at this stage. Ask yourself, are you happy to run back inside to grab BBQ sauce, cooking utensils, etc? Or is doing so a hassle that will prevent you from using your custom island to its full abilities? If you want everything at the touch of your fingertips, you may consider a fridge, trash can, or other components.
Step 3: Finishing examples
Narrow down your finishing options. We offer a versatile selection of stone and stucco finishes to choose from. Speak to our sales people to learn which stones are available for your island, then finalize your selection.
Step 4: Finalize your grill island order
After finalizing your grill island, we will order it and upon arrival, it will be delivered and installed on your residential or commercial property.
