Before we became Fireplace Stone & Patio, we were known as Lumbermen’s Brick & Supply in the heart of downtown Omaha, Nebraska.
While we initially emerged as a Depression Era success story in 1932, we have since expanded to include locations across Nebraska and Iowa, all the while remaining a family-owned company with the same values as when we first began.
By focusing on customer relations and quality service as guiding principles, we were able to secure our place in the community and as a result, contribute to many of Omaha’s landmark projects such as the Henry Doorly Zoo, Eppley Airport and TD Ameritrade Park.
In 2000, we spread our wings and our storefronts by opening Fireplace & Stone Center in Urbandale, Iowa. Then, in 2001, we further expanded by joining the Grand Island, Nebraska community as Hearth & Home before opening another location in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2006. Our Urbandale store was relocated to Waukee, Iowa in 2012, where it remains today.
In 2014, we unified our four locations by rebranding as Fireplace Stone & Patio to more accurately convey what our business does to the general public. In 2019, we launched a storefront in Kearney, Nebraska, where we look forward to carrying out our core values and mission.
Our clients have grown since our humble beginnings to include homebuilders, commercial masons, landscapers and the retail public. We continue to offer the same high-quality brands and services our valued customers have come to expect.
